Booking your Driving Standards Agency (DSA) driving test

Practical test appointments can be booked, and subject to three clear working days notice, be changed and cancelled using driving test booking online service or the telephone.
Before you can take your practical test you will need to make sure you have a valid provisional driving licence. You will also have to have passed a DSA theory test within the last two years. You can apply for a provisional driving licence from the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA). The application form (form D1) can be obtained from your local Post Office.
